From my short stories, you'll likely realise I'm not a single genre author. Not because I don't want to be, but because I enjoy exploring plots - no matter the genre, trope, or convention. Which is why this next book is going to be a little different from my last four.
The Entwined Hearts series and Highest of Priorities were primarily Romances. I love writing romance because I'm a romantic; I can't help imagining love in all forms.
Yet, this next one isn't a romance. And I'm not overly confident about the story. It's going to be gritty, sensitive, and painful. Which, no matter the genre, seems to be a running theme in my stories.
I will admit to being afraid of this book; mostly because the plot hits a little close to home in ways I wished it didn't. That said, I think it would be a much lesser book if it didn't.
Despite the pain this book is going to hold, I hope you enjoy it while I heal a little part of myself in the process. Early access to the cover and blurb will be released on January 26th, and early access to the novel will begin February 9th.
