For those who’ve been asking for a collection of this year’s short stories, the wait is finally over.

We have finally arrived at the results…But, we’re no closer to an answer of what my next project is. The poll came back with a 33.3% split, which is impressive, honestly.

I have been struggling to not do something. If you’re an author without a full time, paid job, you’ll likely understand the desire to keep working because not doing so feels like a waste of time.

This year has been a roller-coaster.

On December 14th 2024, I began writing a short story which would later become Entwined Hearts.

When I started writing Entwined Hearts, it was supposed to just be a bit of erotica in a quick romance. Quite literally, it was supposed to be the opposite of the mammoth it has become. It was going to be the award ceremony, the night of (without Fredrick), the following day, and the following night. That was all. Now, the sequence I'd planned to be the entire book is now a mere fraction.

To celebrate Bisexual Awareness Week, I decided to write a Why Choose Bisexual Romance - detailing a love story where Bryce, after coming out as Bisexual to his wife, is set up with a man within their Polyamorous relationship.

If you've been following along, you'll know Entwined Hearts has been removed from Inkitt while we're finishing up on editing it.Now I'm on the way to having the entire series finished and working on the release schedule for the volumes before the entire series is released as a single book at the end of October.

When writing, I always need something to be on in the background – whether it’s a show I’ve watched a thousand times or music which sets the mood.

While I'm working on Entwined Hearts, I've decided to unpublish the current chapters. Reasoning? Because I want to add a few scenes in to smooth over plotlines which are a little clunky - essentially, I'm working on reorganising how each volume starts and ends, just so the continuity is the best it can be.

When I decided to publish my work and have a public platform, I never expected people to be shocked upon finding out I refuse to mourn a bigot.
