I promised an update. So, here we go.I've been dealing with some bad health this year; whether it's my mental or physical health, my overall wellbeing has taken a massive hit.I, of course, went on hiatus to try and rest after suffering some difficulties and discovering I have a new neurological symptom. Now, I'm dealing with those on top of added fatigue, pain, and overall sickness. All that said, it's not going to stop me.I'm not sure what is going to be released first, but here's the current plan. I'm going to take the next two months to rewrite 'Between the Petals' OR write a new book, ready to begin serialising in December.Due my lack of short stories, I'm unlikely to be releasing any paperbacks this year - so there's no novels or anthologies, unfortunately.However, I'm hoping - at the very least - to have as much work available and ready to go by December, without burning myself out.I'm so sorry for the wait, and I'm incredibly sorry for the lack of updates. Truly, I've been dragged through the mud by my ankles and I'm only just about ready to get back to my computer desk.Thank you to those who've reached out to check on me, I really appreciate it! Especially considering some of my time away has been while bedbound and having people to chat with and share memes with has been a big comfort.

It’s hard to say this, but it needs to be said.During my hiatus, I’ve tried writing ‘Between the Lines’ and found the story was going in directions I didn’t want. The characters are a little duller than I’d like, the key scenes for the characters felt flat, and the overall gist of the plot was weak.Because of this, I’ve decided to continue with my hiatus while I try to fix the monstrosity I’ve created. I know some have enjoyed it, others have been sad I’ve had to take the hiatus in the first place, but I simply can’t continue a book I hate as much as I do.This book was supposed to be about navigating romance as a disabled person, and it’s turned into a weird Millionaire Romance shitstorm.So, as my hiatus continues, ‘Between the Petals’ will be down from Inkitt while I work on fixing it. I’m so sorry to have to do this, but truly I think I can do a much better job than what I’ve done over the past few months.As for when I’ll be back, I’m not sure yet. But I promise to keep you as up to date as possible.Thank you for all the love and support over the months, I truly appreciate it.Speak soon x

I’ve been desperately trying to get my life together in some form for the past three weeks. Yes: it’s been three weeks.

I have been desperately wishing I didn't have to make this post; but as time moves on, I realise that if I'm not open about it soon - something bad might happen any everyone will be upset or disappointed.
